Step Into the Kingdom of God

Step into God’s Kingdom!

God has promised salvation to all! Salvation from what? Saving from What? Rescue from who or what? Deliverance from where?

Most people who have a “good life”- food, job, health and place to stay, don’t consider that they need any saving at all. But the type of saving or salvation that Jesus speaks of is a spiritual one that will affect your spiritual, physical, and natural life.

Jesus came talking about the kingdom of God was near. Now it is here! The kingdom of God resides within a person. To get the kingdom of God in you and to get into the kingdom, you have to be a citizen. A citizen of the kingdom of God must be right with the King.

There is also a kingdom of darkness. The kingdom of darkness is also spiritual and all who don’t belong to the kingdom of God or Heaven belong to the kingdom of darkness. The king that rules in the kingdom of darkness is a fallen being. This fallen being is called satan and was once referred to as lucifer before he was put out of God’s kingdom. To be a citizen of the kingdom of darkness or a sinner, you just have to be born. There is no in-between you either belong to one kingdom or the other.

There is only one way to be made right with God and be saved from the kingdom of darkness. In order to enter into the kingdom of God you also have to be born into it. Jesus once told a very learned man named Nicodemus that you must be born again to enter into the kingdom of God.

Now anyone thinking soundly would much rather live as a citizen under a good ruler (God) rather than a tyrant (satan, the devil). Jesus is the good king and loves you so much that He paid the price that makes it possible for all who will enter into this wonderful kingdom.

Originally, because mankind had committed treason by choosing sin over God and therefore was not right with God, we were kept out of the kingdom of God. As a result, mankind received the consequences of sin which is death or separation from God.  Spiritual death is separation from God which means you are no longer under God’s rule or in His kingdom.

But thanks be to God who sent His Son Jesus to take our place and satisfy the sin debt that we owed. God’s way of doing things concerning sin is if you sin (meaning you are not willing to follow God’s way of doing things or His will) you die spiritually and must be separated from Him. Jesus knew no sin and was able to satisfy that verdict by dying for the whole world.

When we believe that Jesus is God’s Son, that He died on the cross for our sins, and that God raised Him from the dead, and confess that belief, we are saved. In other words, we are rescued from the kingdom of darkness and eternal separation from God and brought back into His kingdom.

Matthew 4:23 (AMP)  And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people.

John 3:17 (AMP)  For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

John 10:9 (AMP)   I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.

Romans 10:8-13 (NLT) In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.   For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.  As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”   Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”

Say this to God and He will welcome you into His kingdom and make you right with Him.  He will forgive you of all your; sins, not doing things God’s way, and treat you like you never did anything wrong.

“Heavenly Father, I acknowledge and confess that Jesus is Lord. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead.”

Thank you for saving me and teaching me to live for You!
