The facts of life can sometimes be confusing. Many deal with facts as though they are truth. The one underlying difference between facts and truth is FACTS can change but TRUTH does not change.
There is only one way to know truth and that is by humbling yourself as a child and obeying the Word of God. For example, if you came to my hometown and needed directions, the only way that you would come to know if what I told you was true is to follow my directions. Many people want to see proof that something is true before they will adhere to the directions. Now I am not saying you need to go blindly along and not question or evaluate things people tell you, but I am saying if you want to get to know truth, you are going to have to come to the place of trusting God. You are going to have to get it settled in your heart that God is who He says He is and will do what He says He will do.
Jesus reveals exactly how God is; when you see Jesus you see the Father. In the book of John, Jesus reveals how we come to know and trust in the truthfulness of God.
John 14:21 (AMP)
The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
